WOODSTOCK, United Kingdom ? A 1965 Morris Mini Cooper S set up to match the specification of the classic film The Italian Job is set to cross the auction block in the United Kingdom on July 14.

The Mini Cooper S with the Italian Job treatment gets identical headlamps, tires with the same tread pattern and license plate ? along with "stolen" replica gold bars stored in the trunk. The film's stunt coordinator, Remy Julienne, autographed the headliner and sun visor. It should sell for about $26,000 to $35,000, according to Coys.

In a midsummer event billed as "the biggest car auction of the year," the Coys auction house will offer some 120 vehicles for sale at Blenheim Castle here. Jaguars get pride of place with more than 20 on offer.

The auction's Jaguar Legend collection includes a 1956 Jaguar XK140 fixed-head coupe previously owned by Rev. John Fellingham, known as the Flying Vicar, who raced it in the 1970s. Its engine makes 315 horsepower in current form, the auction house said. Its estimated auction price range is $90,000 to $110,000.

Among other Jaguars being auctioned are several E-types, including a 1965 Series 1 3.8 Roadster Semi-Lightweight, a rebuilt aluminum-bodied flat floor 1961 Series I, and a 1967 4.2-liter Series 1.5 Roadster. There will also be a 1959 XK150 on the block as well as a battleship gray 1946 Mk IV 1.5 Liter saloon billed as having had the same owner since 1964.

The 1927 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Playboy rumble-seat roadster was originally owned by silent-film cowboy star Tom Mix and later appeared in Warner Brothers films including Giant and Inside Daisy Clover. It's expected to fetch at least $170,000.

The castle's eighth annual Concours d'Elegance will take place at the same time, featuring classic cars including an Auburn 851 Speedster from the U.K.'s National Motor Museum, an Alfa Romeo 8C Monza and a Ferrari 212 Inter. Less exotic entrants are also welcomed to enter, with the aim "to show cars right across the collecting spectrum," says Coys Managing Director Chris Routledge.

Full details on the upcoming auction and concours are listed on Coys' Web site.

Inside Line says: Sure to be a splendid day in the British countryside, whether for the window shopper or the serious bidder.
